The Fratrem Group’s ‘Mental and Physical Resilience’ division is an elite team of former military healthcare professionals, NHS healthcare professionals and multi-faith leaders that use their unique experiences to support companies to develop a workforce that has Mental and Physical Resilience which improves workforce health and the company EBITDA.

The Fratrem Group are an accredited CPD/CME provider and are regulated by the UK-based CPDSO. The elite team can advise both the leadership of the company and deliver the Online courses to the workforce.

Marcus Stow

Marcus Stow OBE, MStJ, RGN, BSc (Hons)

Marcus currently works across both the NHS and private sector. During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, he was suborned into a cross-cutting MOD, Cabinet Office, No10 action group advising senior civil servants and politicians on medical crisis management and on how best to use and develop new medical capabilities in support of the Nation. Marcus has 26 years of experience as a healthcare operator in every clinical environment imaginable.  With 20 years of active operational experience in the RAF (with 9 operational tours under his belt) he grew from an exceptional clinician to a respected and trusted leader of medical teams, managing thousands of personnel from all 3 Services during his career. The success of this team and consequent healthcare improvements resulted in Marcus being awarded an O.B.E. in 2021.

Mike Harris

Michael Harris MStJ MSc BA(Hons) RN

Former Royal Air Force Officer for 18 years and retiring as the commanding officer of the Defence Medical Services Headquarters in 2017. Qualified in advanced healthcare and leadership to blend the mental and physical responsibilities of thousands of personnel. Deep knowledge and experience in the leadership and management of personnel in complex environments and how to build up their resilience to stress. Michael has the skills, experience and proven track record to support large organisations to support their workforce.

Husna Ahmad, OBE, PhD

Husna Ahmad OBE, PhD

Husna works in the UK and around the world on multi-faith projects and in crisis zones around the world with organizations like NATO and the WHO. She is the former Group CEO of Faith Regen Foundation which is a multi-faith UK charity. She is also the Secretary-General of the World Muslim Leadership Forum and works with governments around the world. Husna was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the New Year’s Honours list in 2010. Through her multi-faith community work Husna support companies with both internal and community social engagements and reputation.

Dr Kirin

Dr Kirin Hilliar, PhD

Dr Kirin completed her PhD and her Master of Psychology (Forensic) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. Her work has taken her across the fields of forensic, organisational, and clinical psychology in Australia and the UAE, including corrective custodial services, forensic mental health, workplace recruitment assessments and therapeutic services. Alongside her full-time role as Assistant Professor of Psychology at Heriot-Watt University, she also works part-time as a psychologist supporting people through stressful times. Kirin has designed and delivered programs tailored to build resilience in difficult environments, such as for prisoners and staff in maximum-security prisons, university students studying online full-time during the COVID pandemic, and employees working in high-stress projects.

Dr Tarannum Rampal

Dr Tarannum Rampal MBBS FRCA

Dr Rampal is a globally recognised, leading Doctor in improving the health status of a person (while at work) using remote telehealth in preparation for medical intervention such as surgery or chemotherapy. Her work supports people returning to work sooner. Dr Rampal is a Consultant Perioperative Anaesthetist at the Princess Royal University Hospital and a Senior Lecturer at Canterbury Christchurch University. She is also the Clinical and Strategy lead for Kent Medway Prehab, a partnership project between Acute Hospital Trusts, Public Health and Cancer Alliance. She is a published researcher in peer-reviewed medical journals and has translated her work into improving clinical outcomes. Dr Rampal is an accomplished international speaker and health educator.

Dr. Eric Ansell

Dr. Eric Ansell MB CHB

Dr. Ansell has over 20 years as a general practitioner in two local NHS practices and his private practice in North London as well as several years in the A & E department of a London hospital. In addition to being a GP he is a clinical director of numerous private services which involve the care of the public. He has vast experience in preventative medicine, health screening, corporate wellness and cardiology. His vast experience of working with the public means he can take complicated subjects and teach them in English for non-healthcare professionals to understand.
